The Wall , Siesta Key . September , 1983

Day before the County sent in the dozers .  Structures , rocks , and the Australian tree to the left , were already gone .  Maybe this wall was started in the '40s .  Notice the wood slats / bulkheads that were filled with concrete ( lower left base ) . That landmark weathered countless storms , and was the hub lookout for the lokes .

We love our loyal friends . Forever .

Our beautiful , smart and ever loving Best friend ,  Downey .  We still miss her soul .
